Sunflower House, Wagga Wagga, is a community based, not for profit service of One Door Mental Health and is funded by Department of Health.  Through One Door Mental Health, people living with mental illness and their families can find an inclusive community, innovative services and strong advocacy.

The team at Sunflower House are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with mental illness in a supportive and friendly environment.

Sunflower House is a place that offers respect and opportunity to its members.

  • Membership is voluntary and without time limits.
  • Sunflower House’s Activity Program runs for five days per week 10.00am to 4pm. Office hours are 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.  All One Door Wagga staff are now based at Sunflower House at different times during the week and facilitate various activities in the Program.

  •  Sunflower House delivers a Clubhouse based activity program.  This means that Staff and Members manage the Program together and work side by side as colleagues performing clerical/admin work, running a kitchen and preparing meals (which are available at a small cost each day), maintaining the surrounds of the building, tending the vegetable garden and cleaning duties as well as doing volunteer work at Bunnings. An Outreach program facilitated by Members, provides support and inclusion for Members who are in hospital or having birthdays or who haven’t been to the House for a period of time.
